I am deeply honored to be recognized as the recipient of the Kent Chamber of Commerce 2024 President's Gala and Leadership Award. This award is not just a personal milestone; it symbolizes the community's recognition of the work we do to uplift and empower those around us. It reflects the values we stand for at JLT Web Design & Digital Marketing, where we believe that thriving businesses and thriving communities go hand in hand.

Our dedication to making a meaningful impact is driven by our "Giving Back to the Community" initiative, which includes three core programs designed to support local businesses and organizations:

1. Free Digital Marketing Workshops

We are proud to provide free digital marketing workshops for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) that support local businesses, including chambers of commerce, public libraries, and non-profit organizations. By equipping these organizations with the tools and knowledge to succeed in today's digital landscape, we help foster a strong, connected, and digitally savvy business community.

2. Free Web Accessibility Accounts for Non-Profits

We understand the importance of inclusivity. That’s why we offer free web accessibility accounts for qualified non-profit organizations that serve the disabled community. Our aim is to ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, has access to the digital resources they need, and that organizations serving these populations are empowered to fulfill their missions.

3. Volunteering at Local Food Banks

At JLT, we close our office every Friday to give our team the opportunity to volunteer at local food banks. This is more than just an act of service; it’s a commitment to ensuring that everyone in our community has the essentials they need to thrive. It’s a small but impactful way we can give back, while also fostering a culture of compassion and community involvement within our company.

A Collective Reflection

This recognition truly belongs to the people around us. It’s a reflection of the collective effort of our team, our partners, and our community. I am deeply humbled and inspired by this honor, and it motivates us to continue our mission of creating positive change.

To Our Clients—You Are Our Partners

To our clients, thank you. We don’t see you as customers; we see you as partners in this journey. At JLT, we hold the firm belief that your success is our success. For us to thrive, it is essential that we help you flourish. After all, when businesses grow, entire communities blossom. It’s this interconnectedness—between business and community—that is at the core of everything we do.

The Power of Community-Driven Success

We believe that businesses are the heartbeat of the community, and in turn, the community is the lifeblood that sustains businesses. This symbiotic relationship creates a powerful cycle of growth and support—a cycle that we are dedicated to nurturing.

Our efforts, whether through providing free digital marketing training, supporting web accessibility, or volunteering our time, are all aimed at one goal: community success. Because when we lift others, we all rise together.

A Call to Action: Let's Build a Thriving Future Together

As I reflect on this honor, I invite every business leader, entrepreneur, and community member to join us in this journey. Let’s lock arms and work together to create a community that is vibrant, thriving, and resilient.

Together, we can continue to make great things happen. Let’s build a future where businesses and communities support one another, and where success is shared by all.

Thank you once again for this incredible recognition. Let’s keep pushing forward—together.
